Growing in L. koehresii habitat near Tula, Tamaulipas.
It is far more typical for this species to grow in areas adjacent to Lophophora populations
rather than in mixed populations such as is shown above. Coryphantha tuberculosa is also visible.
Growing near L. williamsii var. echinata habitat.
